How to Wisely Choose Your Future
Have you ever thought about your future? What is your life going to be in the next five or ten years? For many people, life is just a series of “Born, go to school, get into famous college, get the job, get married, having a baby and rise them (of course), then dead!”. Do you want to follow that pattern too? Well, I don’t. But don’t get me wrong, live your life like that is not that bad, it is good enough if you want to have an ordinary life.
For those of you who want to have a better future, I recommend you to take some time alone in a quiet place and think about what you really want to do in your life. By doing what you really like (e.g. your hobby), you can live your life to the fullest! The sooner you do this, the less regret you will have. Don’t believe so? Imagine this:
When you are 21 years old, you basically can do everything you life. You have a lot of chances to live in your way, like open your own business or become a freelancer based on your hobby because most likely you are single at that moment. Even if you ‘fail’ at several attempts, it doesn’t really matter. But what if you are 45 years old? People in that age usually married already and have one or two kids. You have less chance to experiment a thing because you have a lot of responsibilities on your shoulder or frankly saying, the risk is too high.
So if you are still so young, it is the best time for you to plan your future. You can either try to be a freelancer, or even open a business from now on. This way you can recognize what your best interest is. So when you graduate later on, you know exactly what you want to do.
In my case, I know I love to design a house and its interior. That’s why I took my internship at interior design firm and after I graduate I can become an independent interior designer, three years later I can build my own Interior Design firm, is it wonderful?
